Grampians Tourism Appoints new CEO
After an extensive recruitment campaign the Board of Grampians Tourism has announced the appointment of Mr. Marc Sleeman as Chief Executive Officer. Grampians Tourism Chair David Osborn confirmed that Marc Sleeman, who is currently the General Manager of Tourism Kuranda, would commence with Grampians Tourism on July 3.
Mr Sleeman has 20 years’ experience in tourism in both private industry and local government including roles in general management, marketing and sales with responsibility for strategic planning, events, visitor services and stakeholder engagement.

Halls Gap Hub use
Grampians Tourism are offering an opportunity for all applications from commercial, community and non profit groups for casual use of the Halls Gap Hub.
Applications from buskers and other performance artists are encouraged. Community groups and nonprofit organisations can use the Halls Gap Hub free of charge.

Annual Tourism Industry Conference #GTIC2017 New dates to come!
The 2017 Grampians Tourism Industry Conference will deliver practical, information take-away messages for all attendees and inform direction and opportunities for the coming year.
Our theme ‘Marketing for Growth’ will provide insights and a deeper understanding of how we can all grow our businesses be being more efficient and sustainable.
With a number of wider industry changes ahead, recent State Budget announcements, new initiatives and a new website under development for Visit Grampians, not to mention a new CEO, we have decided to defer the GT Conference until later in the year.

Grampians Peaks Trail
The Grampians Peaks Trail will ultimately be a high quality, nature-based walk, one of Victoria’s four Icon Walks, offering a world class long-distance walking experience for some and shorter on-off opportunities for others.
The first stage of the trail was launched in May 2015 and includes a 36 kilometre one-way three day/two night loop walk from Halls Gap to Borough Huts and returning to Halls Gap.
